QCF Levels and Units



If you’re looking for the content included for each QCF qualification, please refer to the charts below. Each qualification gives the level, title, units and awarding body reference number. Some units are mandatory and others are optional.

Units:

Each level has a unit structure with titles and codes which appear on the National Database of Accredited Qualifications. By completing a whole unit, you are assigned a credit value. The title gives a summary of the key skills and knowledge learnt, but not all content within the unit will be assessed.
